Self-Pay

Clients always have the option to self-pay. This means the client will not notify or use their health insurance for therapy services (“opt. out”). A diagnosis will not be required and records will not be submitted to health insurance. Clients will pay (in full) for session, at time of session(s). Contact Insightful Minds Counseling to determine session rates.

Sliding-Fee Scale is offered to a select number of clients. Please contact Insightful Minds Counseling to determine session rates.

Insurance

Insightful Minds Counseling currently participates “in-network” in the following health insurance provider networks:

Blue Cross and Blue Shield

Cigna

Optum/UnitedHealthCare

Medicare

Multiplan

Magellan

Insightful Minds Counseling is pending approval from several health insurance companies and will update the above list as soon as approval has been made.


“Out-of-Network” Options:

You have the option to pay (in full) for your sessions, at time of service, and apply for reimbursement from your health insurance. The Therapist will provide you with a superbill. A Superbill is an itemized form given to clients outlining specific information about services rendered and payments made. Superbills contain information clients need to submit to insurance companies to, potentially, get reimbursed for services provided by your therapist. I would be happy to discuss the option of billing your health insurance “out-of-network” on your behalf.

Insightful Minds Counseling cannot guarantee that your health insurance company will reimburse you for all services.

Please check with your health insurance’s “out-of-network” benefits to verify this option.
